Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese spiritual practice that involves using the practitioner's hands to transfer energy to the recipient, with the goal of promoting healing and balance. The word "Reiki" is made up of two Japanese words: "rei," which means "universal," and "ki," which means "life energy" or "vital energy."

The practice of Reiki involves the practitioner placing their hands on or near the recipient's body, often following a specific set of hand positions, with the intention of transferring healing energy to the recipient. The belief is that this energy helps to balance the recipient's energy and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Reiki is often used in conjunction with other forms of medical and psychological treatment as a complementary therapy, rather than as a replacement for traditional medical care. While there is limited scientific evidence to support the effectiveness of Reiki, many people find it to be a helpful and calming practice.
